Advanced Metal Etching's Cov-19 Response

AME's COVID-19 Response

The COVID-19 crisis continues to be an ongoing global threat impacting physical and economic health. As a result, the AME team would like to inform our customers, supply partners, and employees, that we are taking precautionary measures as advised by the CDC and WHO guidelines to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.  We are also implementing procedures into our manufacturing operations that will ensure the safety of our employees, community and manufacturing partners.

Workspace: Prepare, Prevent, Protect

First and foremost, our employees' health and safety remain our number one priority. The following procedures are being implemented daily to stop or prevent the spread of the virus within our facilities.

  • All surfaces including workspaces and machines are disinfected on a daily basis.

  • Hand sanitizers, tissues, and open disposal containers are available in all workstations.

  • Employees are asked to practice frequent hand washing and social distancing.

  • If an employee feels ill or has a family member who is ill, he/she is asked to remain home for the specified amount of time recommended by a medical professional before returning to the workplace.

  • We are suspending unnecessary business travel for management team members unless it interferes with customer requirements.

  • Where applicable, some employees are offered the option to work from home through the end of March, as this is currently the timeframe recommended according to CDC guidelines. Visits to the office within that time period may be necessary to avoid any disruptions in our customers' requirements or deadlines.

Manufacturing Partners: Prepare, Prevent, Protect

  • Our manufacturing plant facilities will remain open now and in the foreseeable future.

  • Our employees are cross-trained in multiple areas of operations in the event of absences.

  • We confirm that our supply chain partners are following the same CDC recommended guidelines for businesses. We are communicating regularly to ensure there are no supply chain disruptions.

  • We will continue to provide transparency by notifying customers or suppliers of any internal procedural changes pertaining to COVID-19.

  • We will continue to monitor any changes in the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, as well as local, state and federal health departments.

We are confident that our policies and preventative procedures will help keep our employees healthy while mitigating disruptions in our manufacturing operations.  Please visit our website regularly for updates as the COVID-19 situation changes.
